GUA SHA & LYMPHATIC MASSAGE
Gua Sha is an ancient healing technique from East Asia. "Gua" meaning scrape, and "Sha" meaning sand. It's main benefits are to improve blood circulation, relieve muscular tension and inflammation in deep layers of the muscles and connective tissue. There will be slight bursting of the capillaries that causes a temporary discoloration on the surface of the skin. Akin to cupping this is temporary and will be gone within a week or so.

Gua sha Tools used on the face have much lighter pressure and can assist with bringing increased blood flow to promote regeneration of cells, smooth fine lines and assist in graceful aging as well as relaxation of the facial muscles. Facial Gua Sha also helps with draining fluid retention, sinus pressure, and stagnant lymph nodes of the neck and face.

Olivia will guide your through a privately customized session using Hatha and Yin style yoga combined with relaxation methods of pranayama that activate your Vagus nerve and to lead your into a deep state of release as well as increase flexibility, reduce pain from fascial constriction, and detox the cells from waste product. The best part is, you can utilize these techniques at home outside of session to carry tools with you on your healing journey.
