5 ELEMENTAL ACUPRESSURE

5 elemental acupressure is a unique technique based in the Taoist practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The Philosophical lens from this modality states opposites create each other, all things in nature are deeply connected, and to restore balance there needs to be an honoring of those opposites. E.G. We wouldn't know day without night or hot without cold. Every Element has a season which then has a destruction and creation cycle. E.G. Wood creates fire, water destroys fire. This interconnectedness also can be reflected in our bodies organs, and meridian channels which are like a highway system connecting the bodies flow of "QI" or life force energy. It is believed that holding specific pressure points in a sequence can allow blocked energy to flow and harmonize the bodies natural systems.

5 Elemental Acupressure in recommended for the following:

Balancing Hyperactive or Hypoactive energy

Anxiety

Sleep Disorders

Mood Disorders

Digestive issues

Nervous system imbalance

Emotional imbalances

Depression

Cognitive issues

Balances left and right brain

It's main benefits are to improve blood circulation, relieve muscular tension and inflammation in deep layers of the muscles and connective tissue. There will be slight bursting of the capillaries that causes a temporary discoloration on the surface of the skin. Akin to cupping this is temporary and will be gone within a week or so.
